My World of Stories
Welcome to my world of stories! You’ll find some of my works here—I’ll keep adding to the collection slowly. If you read them all, you might just get to know me better. :p
Some you may love, others not so much—but you’ll meet plenty of characters along the way. Who knows? You might even find a little piece of yourself in one of them. ;)
I can’t predict what you’ll take away from these stories, but one thing’s for sure: you’ll definitely find a story.
When Life Unfolds
Written by: Prabhanjan Sharma
Word Count: 494
Writer's Note: This was written in August 2023 as a small commentary towards the usage of AI and what it may happen in future. AI was still in its nascent stage and it wasn't fully developed. The idea was to create a short movie using AI with this script. We did generate some visuals but we weren't satisfied with the same. But the story definitely stayed with me and here is the final version of the same.
Synopsis: A writer is trying to write the climax of his novel which is a sci-fiction story where AI will take over the governance. He is unable to complete the climax of his story as he his having a writer's block. But he have to complete his story as the publisher has given a final deadline. Will he complete his story or miss his deadline?

Synopsis: The world had just opened after Covid lockdown and our protagonist Sanna was headed back home after a conference. She was talking to her where her mom was saying her that she should get married or else no one will accept her, while she said this she saw a billboard which said that everyone is accepted, in a matter of second the car broke down. She didn't know what to do. It was raining heavily, her phone signal wasn't there and there was just a hotel. What will Sanna do? What will happen inside the hotel? Is she safe?
Lost In Theft
Written By: Prabhanjan Sharma
Written For : IFP Competition where we had to integrate a song from Bollywood in the story.
Writer's Note: This was written for a competition for India Film Project. They had given a couple of pre-requisties which needs to be fulfilled, so I had to integrate a song in the story. It was a fun process and i really enjoyed the process of writing this story.
Synopsis: The daily headlines read “A gruesome murder by a thief of a pretty lady at House of Strife.” What happens when there is a heist for life? Our body is a treasure and the key to happiness is a heist by itself. The thin line of difference between want and need can change the dynamics of our reality. The seekers in us is always behind the fulfillment of Arishadvargas but what are we seeking for? Will the seekers in us ever stop seeking? Will the perspectives of right and wrong ever be the same for all the seekers in the world. The conscious in us is mere a spectator while the thief in us is always the culprit. Can we ever control the thief in us or is it just the death of thief?
