When life unfolds

A short by Prabhanjan Sharma

As the writer is ideating his thoughts, he goes on to jot down the important points he needs to include before he writes the climax for his novel. He had a deadline to meet, and it was really important for him to complete it because this was the 5th deadline and he was stuck with his own thoughts, he didn’t want to miss this time because this was his last chance given by the publisher. he sits on his table and things about how the opposition leader in his novel needs to give a final speech to the world. He thinks and goes to his world of story,

“We are in a losing marathon against technology and greed and we all know what it is if AI continues to rule us. I am the opposition leader and it's my order to revolt and rise. The aftermath of that dark period tested us in unimaginable ways. We witnessed destruction that left us emotionless, and we felt the weight of uncertainty pressing down upon us.

But here we stand, survivors of those tumultuous times, slowly but surely reclaiming our lives from the clutches of adversity.

Our addiction to convenience has blinded us to the fact that AI isn't just a tool, it's now our ruler dictating not only our daily routines but also our thoughts and desires.

It's rewiring our brains, numbing our creativity, and sowing the seeds of complacency. We've become prisoners of our own devices, entrapped by the very innovation we thought would liberate us. We've forgotten the joy of struggle, the satisfaction of overcoming challenges, and the growth that comes from facing adversity.

To the writers and artists among us, I implore you to take up your pens, your brushes, and your instruments to convey the emotions that are being stifled by this relentless march of technology. Let your words and creations breathe life into our struggles, hopes, and dreams.

Let your art remind us of our resilience, our capacity for growth, and our ability to find beauty in the imperfect. Remember, it's not too late to change our course. Our future is in our hands, not in the circuits of machines. Let's rise above the confines of convenience and rediscover the richness of our existence.”

After a long period of thinking and rethinking, he is left with just thoughts on paper, he checks the time and he had to submit it within next 30 minutes. He quickly opens the laptop and starts typing whatever he had written. He typed everything and at the end added, “Below are the relevant information from my novel, write the climax and give the best output”. He looks at himself in mirror and clicks enter on Chat GPT.
