Movie Name: Dragon
Directed by: Ashwath Marimuttu
Dragon is that rare mass entertainer that gets everything right - a near-perfect blend of substance and commercial punch.
Like Nolan says, every great film creates its own world with its own rules. When you first hear Dragon's premise, you'll probably think "Wait, how does that even work?" But here's the magic - once you're in the theater, you stop asking 'how' and start feeling 'why'.
This is commercial cinema done spectacularly well. The writing is sharp, the quirkiness feels fresh, and it somehow manages to deliver its message without ever getting preachy. Sure, there are moments where logic takes a backseat - but the emotions are so strong that you just don't care.
The cast is fire - Myskin is an absolute scene-stealer, Pradeep Ranganathan shines, and Ashwath deserves special praise. My only gripe? The female characters had solid foundations but could've used more depth in their arcs.
What makes Dragon truly special is how it balances everything: it's wildly entertaining, surprisingly smart, and leaves you with something to think about. In an era of mindless masala flicks, this one proves you can have both - brains and blockbuster thrills
